What I know of TFS and TEA is that they use a different flow bench which produces big numbers but is not the same as say AFR or someone else. Its like a dynojet compared to a mustang dyno. One gives easy big numbers the other is more indicative of real world power and flow. Also when they advertise, they advertise engine dyno numbers and not chassis dyno numbers and they use thier own dyno or friends dyno. Big difference in the end results.
Best way it to keep asking questions and keep researching. It took me 3 months or research and questions before I made my first cam purchase.
Beware of sales people, it's their job to sell.
Do a quick search to find posts on the TFS heads and results...there are quite a few of them.

No you wont hit 505 rwhp with that cam. See you need to make sure your talking apples to apples here. TFS could very well mean 505 at the crank and not the wheels. Thats where sales people come in with thier little tricks to decieve. You need to make sure your comparing apples to apples and not an apple to an orange. Been my experience with TEA that this can happen quite easily. All other vendors I've dealt with use RWHP but in my last conversation with Tooley of TEA he waited unitil the very end to tell me engine dyno.
The TFS is a very good head by all accounts.
you have 3 basic choices....
5.3L heads (853? i think)
5.7L heads (241)
LS6 heads (243)
for well under $2000....and even under $1500 you could get a set of those heads, with a decent port job and mate it to a good cam and make 420-450rwhp (500+ at the crank).
