There is a guy here in dallas that has a c6z when on the bottle it makes over 800. I do not remember who built the car but pretty sure it was someone in Houston. The guy lives in north Dallas somewhere. His liscense plate is "BONDS". The car was a cover for some vette magazine this summer. I have seen several videos of the car running down the highway. Pretty sure the videos were from Ricekiller.com. Dont think the guy ever runs the car at the track.

It was just funny, getting called a lier from a guy who knew nothing about cars! oh well one day he might grow up and play with the big boys, untill then he can be laughted at!!

reminds me of last year. One kid was bragging that his dad had a 8 second 05 mustang GT that was srteet legal and ran on 87 octane pump. He simply said it had slicks and a big engine. I told im about my neighbours car, a 68 Cuda fastback with a full back half, tube chassis and a 642" wedge with a 3 speed lenco and a Mark Williams rearend. thing made just over 1150HP at the crank on C16. I told him I would get Greg to bring the cuda if his dad would bring the mustang. he said fine, so I get Greg to gimme a ride (couple others guys doubted me too) and then we waited. suddenly a black GT with Knock off TT2s comes in, engine braking with the sound system going full blast. He gets out and starts bragging out his 8 second car. I tell him to pop the hood, so his dad pops it and all I see is a CAI and a TB spacer. 
I walked over to his dad and said "what do you think this thing will do in the 1/4?" he just said "about 8 flat" i couldn't believe it, the father had poisoned the son. needless to say Greg was sitting there lauhing his *** off at all this, so we remove the pin on hood and show him the tall deck monster. his dad got out and said "yeah, thats cool, but my car will beat it" Greg simply motioned to put the hood back on, then he fired it up and ran through the gears as he left. and I have pics of the cuda if you want to see it.

Actually the HPE C6 does make over 850RWHP and is owned by a personal friend of mine. the car spent about 3 months in houston being reworked for streetability but with 850 on tap its kinda hard.

who gives a **** about BONDS and his C6Z, a certain SOM SS waxed that *** down 288 after a HPD CVS meet one day. it looked like the C6Z was going in reverse he got his *** drug so bad
