Can I get into the 9's?

My question is if I spray another 50 shot do you guys think I will atleast get a 9.9999.......lol! Cars ran 10.37 @130 on a 200 shot. I'm thinking of doing a 250 shot to try to get a 9 sec pass. Do you think it will be enough to get me there?

i doubt it, it should get you right there, but i dunno about 9.999
thats purely my guess though

I would think so, assuming the car hooks right ,I've gone as fast as 10.1@130, I have a buddy that's gone 10.00@129, so you're close mph wise, with the extra 50 hp and if the car hooks like it should, you should get there.

Thats kinda what I was thinking. Cars got as fast as 131 MPH. As far as hooking it hooks up good I think thats whats going to make it or break it. On my 10.37 pass car 60ft was a 1.47. A few passes after that a pulled off a 1.41 60ft but had to let off so did get a clean pass. IMO if I do the 250 shot and can pull another low low 1.4x 60ft I should be right there!

if you don't mind me asking, what kind of times are you running on motor? I have a VERY similar setup as yours and I have set my sights on a 9.99 too.

I have bone stock suspension! I just recently added an Eibach Pro kit to the front and thats about it. Everything else are the stock parts that came on the car from the factory.

Cars done a best of an 11.60 on motor! But usually consistent 11.70's.

I would look to lose 200lbs and trick out the suspension and you should see 9s without touchin the motor.

buy yourself some suspension and some 4.10s, and you should be able to hit 9s.

Don't you think 4.10's is a bit much? Considering I'm spraying a 200 and running on 26's. IMO with some 4.10's I'm going to run out of gear before the 1/4 mile.
