and the list price for the f-body Dipstick = $15.07

pan with no dipstick I picked up the conversion kit from BRP for my 06 LS2 going into my 68 Firebird. I was about to change the pan today and I noticed the new pan has no provision for a dipstick. P/N on the pan is 12614827 ( I am not sure on the last number it is not really clear on the pan) Does any one know what I need to do? Do I need a different pan?

Look on the passenger side of the block. Should be a hole there for the dipstick.

This might be a challenge because of the variations in mounts and peoples tolerance for fitment. For example, there have been various pans used in GM A-bodies. Some have used the CTSV pan, F-body pan, Corvette pan, various aftermarket pans. They all fit, but some pans hang down past the crossmember, other pans require more engine setback, etc...
