It's an old school term that was used years ago and I think it implies getting all the rear tire to the ground or planting them hard. It was before my time, but I like the way it sounds

Is the transmission setup with a manual valve body or are you still shifting it electronicly? I'm thinking of doing a similar setup next month and so far you are the test mule

It's a "Stab N Steer" ride I still control the shift points with PCM tuning. It doesn't effect any of the normal driving controls. It's also only active in Drive.

Yeah that converter was a Circle D 9.5" lock up converter. I'm running their 8" lock up converter now

We're running a Strange 12 bolt with 4.11 gears. It's narrowed 3" on each side.

Excellent!... What rpm is the 2 step set at? It sounds as though you are still flashing the converter off the trans brake!
What is the vehicle race weight?...I'm from Oz so I'm not that familiar with this cars specs.

I am VERY interested in this set up for my vehicle over here... I would love to be able to hoist the fronts even 1/3 that high!
Does the vehicle react the same with the smaller tyre?

That effort definately deserves the applause you here in the background!

That launch was at 3500rpm off the 2 step. I haven't tried any launches directly off the TB due to questionable track prep here these days. We weigh in just over 3280ish depending on the current exhaust, fuel and driver. The iron block adds a good bit of weight to the nose, but that should be reduced later this year

The shorter bias slick is slightly less aggressive at the hit and is definitely the slower of the two tires, but the bias 28x10.5W is a more consistent tire here in the Summer heat on a greasy iffy track.

Thanks for the props!!!
