Masterpower turbos have come along way over the years. I haven't had a single one come back yet. On another note I checked out Monello's turbo build post and I'm jealous as hell, I was out of stock when he called me so I had to send him my personal turbo that I was saving for my Turbo mustang project, at least it found a good home LOL.

You will under drive that comp wheel badly and the comp map will be very narrow and short. A MP P-trim turbine even with a large exhaust housing only flows max 32lbs/min. You need 46 lbs/min minimum to drive a 76mm wheel to max RPM and efficiency.

Thank you very much for bashing our products you will never know the fondness that I will always keep for now.........

I attached a spec sheet and I would like for you to explain further now that you won't just be talking about a turbo you have never seen or touched.

Not bashing.....just telling you its already been done, tested and put to the side. The P-trim TW from MP does not flow enough to support a 76mm 90+lbs/min wheel. That is the same reason why you don't see 76/p-trims anymore. They spool slow since their is not enough blade face to leverage the 76mm compressor wheel.

If that is not convincing enough...do the math.

well then why does the turbonetics 76mm turbo come with a choice of a 61 65 or 68 wheel, the MP wheel is a 64.5
are you saying that turbonetics turbos don't work either.

They offer it as an option...doesn't mean it works well. We have NEVER sold a 76mm turbo with a p-trim TW of any kind of brand. Its kind of like putting a 94mm compressor wheel on a S-trim turbine wheel. Same amount of % off on those two wheels as they are on the 76/p-trim. I'm not here saying you can't do it, just saying it won't work well at all on a LS based motor, or anything short of a 1.5L engine wanting to make around 800hp. Putting wheels together doesn't mean they always work, that is why the manufactures provide you with a Comp map and turbine map. Learn the limits of the wheels and you can see what will work together.

Also the Tnetics "P-trim" wheel flows 39lbs/min.....ALOT more then the old straight cut MP design. MP's based on a turbine that is 20 years old, a copy of the old Garrett P-trim design.

well you have your opinions and I have mine, thats the beauty of the performance forum. I would just appreciate it, if you didn't go behind my posts and undermine my products especially since you have never used it, seen it, or taken it apart. I don't do that to you so I would appreciate the same treatment.

Not undermining your product.....but did you build it or did MP? Also we have dealt with MP's for years, so we know about MP's probably since day one when they hit USA shores, and the bearing system has not changed since day one. Like I said before...not bashing, but it is what it is.
