Memphis Street Racing 7-20-08 Mellon Tuning evo vs 980rwhp Turbo Mustang for #1 spot

had a little fun this weekend with the local gang... we have a "quick list" on my forum www.racevideoforums.com and I challenged my buddy EJ with the 980rwhp T-88 turbo Mustang for the #1 spot this weekend

UL LOSE was there in his T/A but has a broken carrier and didn't want to risk it unless somebody started talking a bunch of ****. He's semi retired for now since it's his only car.

cops never bother us out there...it's invite only and we do things as safe as possible

thanks man, Buschur built 2.0 shorty + stage 3 head is on the way to go with the larger cams I have sitting here. I can't wait to see what it'll do at 40psi on race gas.

I try to do one good video shoot a month...gives everyone time to upgrade their tires, fill bottles and make repairs... I think I have ~ 60 videos now since I started the Memphis Street Racing series...most of them are really good so check it out when you have some time:

If GM cars were in on it, it wouldn't be fare to all the others.

He clearly has the faster car, though, that you cannot argue. Yours was quicker in that particular 1/4 street race, however.

no doubt about that...

he's got a big race coming up in october at Bowling Green and doesn't want to risk breaking it before then, but after that I'm sure he'll be back to attempt to reclaim his #1 spot on our little quick list.
